Oh my girlfrend will flip when I make and give her this 1920 Caramel Crochet Clothe Hat! I love this hat pattern and do see some are having problems with it and some say it is working out great. I'll be making this following the written directions and will just have to see how it turns out. I like that there are pictures for the button flap just to make sure I'm doing it right. I'm looking forward to making this one. Thank you so much for sharing the free crochet hat pattern.

Very cute hat. Reminds me a lot of her 1920s cloche hat. I might pass on attempting this hat pattern. There were a lot of questions about some of the instructions not being clear and a couple of the instructions were not complete. Several people asked questions and needed help but the artist never answered them. May be time for an update to this pattern?

HopefulHoney hats are bar none the best! This one goes together so quickly and easily I'm always disappointed when I finish one - I've made three so far using different colours for the grown-up ladies in my family (daughter, daughter-in-law, and myself).
