Im looking at the blog post for this pattern and realizing its over nine year old. That just goes to show how much is out there that its only just now showing up in my crochet feed. This is a wonderful pattern and Im already thinking how to embroider a face, maybe make a body and stuff it, all sorts of things. And I want that creepy eyeball, too!

Wow! Have I got an idea for using these applique bats! Take an old, ripped striped sweater- from the back of you closet or from the thrift store- and sew these directly onto the sweater in a random fashion. Put a couple on the shoulders, one or two on the chest and maybe one on the back, a few smaller ones around the band of the sweater. You could call that a Halloween costume for your office party!

That could start a new trend. Ugly Halloween sweaters!
