Jack O'Pumpkin Candy Bowl
"Can you say CUTE? This pumpkin bowl is the perfect accessory to your fall and Halloween table. Use the bowl to hold candy for a party or little trick or treaters, or leave the face and legs off and you have a lovely bowl for your fall table. The pattern is worked using two strands of worsted weight yarn together throughout (except for the legs), and the stitch adds lots of texture. It would be pretty easy to size this up too if you’d like a bigger bowl. Approximately 6” tall x 7” diameter, not including legs. Designed in worsted weight yarn."

This is so neat. I have an old one that someone made for me but it's showing its ago. I always said I would make a new one if I found a good pattern. Here it is. On top of that, you could make other things from it. Like all in white and don't add eye balls just the dark colored circles, viola! A ghost!

I think this would actually make a nice cover for one of those rather bland plastic pumpkins in the stores right now. I have a plastic cauldron that Ive used in the past, but its really too large to easily handle. I keep a small bench next to the front door and I can easily see this adorable fellow perched right there. That way the kids can reach in and grab a handful of candy.
