Rainbow Ripple Wrap Dress
"A wrap style front creates a double layer across the chest, giving this dress a little added warmth for chilly spring weather. It also allows the top of the dress to stretch and move – perfect for active toddlers! This pattern works well in one color changing and one solid yarn, or in 2 solid colors. It’s available in sizes 2T, 3T, and 4T, and is pictured here in size 2T."

This is such an adorable dress and a very cute model wearing it. I do think that worsted weight yarn is a bit heavy for a baby this small and that it takes away from the daintiness and adds bulkiness. I definitely would, for myself, go with a sport weight or a baby fingering yarn to add softness and lighten it up a bit.

you could definitely do that! Just be sure to adjust for sizing as the lighter weight yarn will work up smaller.
