You probably could make not only a beanie for your baby, but one for yourself, as well, with yarn to spare. I have worked a couple of scarf projects with the Scarfie yarn and I am impressed with the stretchy and squishy softness not to mention the colors that are offered. Nice hat -)

What an adorable use of Scarfie yarn. I really love this yarn . I love the color changes and how soft it is and I like the roving style of the yarn. I also love all of the beautiful color combinations, but honestly this is my favorite color and I love the way it looks on this hat. The pom-pom is adorable. Also, Scarfie skeins are quite large and you could get several hats out of them and each one would look different.

I just recently bought myself a set of the larger crochet hooks so that I could have them in case I found a pattern that called for a bigger size. I have no gotten to use any of them yet. I am so glad that I found this cute hat pattern so that I can finally break one of them in.
