We also had a premature birth in our family several years ago. She was my very first granddaughter, and sadly, Baby Nicole didnt survive. I think of her often, especially when making preemie and newborn hats to donate every year. I never thought of including gathered headbands before. Or adding those adorable kitty ears. Thanks so much for posting these!
