"Simple Summertime Baby Sundress is a crochet + fabric baby dress. If you know basic methods of sewing and crocheting you can make a beautiful dress combining these two methods. All you want to get 100 total yards of #4 medium 100% cotton yarn, a piece of cotton fabric about 40″ x 40″ and two buttons to attach to the straps. You can make this beautiful dress for 12 – 18 months old little girls."
Crochet Hook4.5 mm hook
Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)
Crochet Gauge15 hdc x 9 rows = 4″ with 4.5 mm crochet hook.

What a cute idea. I am not a big fan of sewing but I can handle this. I crochet purses and always line them so I have plenty of yarn and material. The hard part will be deciding which material to use. I also just ask, why intermediate? It's very easy.

Well, I'm not a Grandma....yet! My eldest son is getting married in June though. This adorable Easy Simple Summertime Baby Sundress is so bright and cheery. It is the perfect little romp around in dress for summer. If you add a little turtleneck long sleeve top it could also be worn during the winter time! This is so versatile because the print fabric of your choice would help you tailor it right to your little princess! Any idea why it was labeled an " intermediate" pattern?

Sewing and crochet combined into one great project if you know how to do both of these. Such a great idea. I have had some material hanging around my sewing room for a while now and just didnt know what to do with it. This is a very simple pattern to do and to customize to a larger size that I can use my material on.

Very cute idea. I like the idea of picking a sweet fabric and matching yarn to make this Easy Simple summertime dress. The color combo is unlimited and who doesn't like that. This could also be a winter dress with a little long sleeved shirt underneath.
