What does "work even" mean please? I'm still a bit of a beginner and am unfamiliar with that term.

Hi mslindaw, in this pattern, "work even" seems to mean to crochet once in each stitch of the row, with making any increases or decreases. I hope this helps! - Laura, editor of AllFreeCrochet

Ive seen some adorable baby bibs online, but most share the same problemthey either tie or fasten at the back. This is fine if Baby is sitting up in a high chair, but less convenient when Baby is reclined. Even when nursing, I usually kept something at hand for the inevitable spit ups and became pretty adept at the one handed baby change, too. Im going to re-examine my other bib patterns to see which can be adapted to this style of closure.

The ever important baby bib! I really like this pattern. It's simple, so it will make up in a hurry. I have twin grand sons so that means double the bibs. I like to make them a little dressy. Dark navy blue with some embroidered touches. Like an anchor, sail boat, bike, etc.

Crochet baby bibs are very handy to have in great supply when you have little ones. I always kept plenty in the car, in diaper bags, and at home. We would go through so many of these every single day. This one is very simple and easy to make. The instructions are great and so very easy.

Yup new baby expected in the family in April, we're gonna need lots of bibs. I particularly like this pattern because it closes on the side with velcro (or a snap) so it's easy to get on and off the baby. The pattern is so quick and easy i won't have any trouble whipping up a bunch of these.
