"Spring is around the corner and the Chick and Egg Baby set is an adorable set to make for a baby 0-3 months. This project can be worked up in a day and uses a combination of basic stitches to create the beautiful stitch combination! 1 skein of yellow and 1 skein of white and a small amount is orange, plus 2 small buttons and your H and K hook is all that is needed to create this fun project!"

Just looking at the photo of this project in the wire basket, I really couldnt figure out what it was. A hat obviously, but what was the other part? When I saw it on the baby, that was a definite Ah, ha! Moment. I can see the bottom being okay for newborn photos, but at least the hat can be worn well into toddlerhood. It would be a shame to not use such a cute creation as long as you can!

This is the perfect time of year to try a cute little project like this. Some of us may even have the yellow and the white yarn already in our stash, too! A twist on the eggshell would be to make it a pretty blue color, or a pale/blue green, just for extra interest. May or may not work. I'll have to see. It may make it look a little too strange... thoughts? Nice photo prop for the new babes.

Oh how cute. I love it. I love anything like this. The face is so previous. I have twin grand babies so this is just perfect. I smile evrytine I look at this and I know they will too. It's easy, inexpensive and cute.nthats sums up a great project in my book.
