I just love these tiny crochet Easter eggs. Found this crochet pattern too late to make these for the 2017 Easter holiday. However, as I make items during the year I will make these to use up scrap yarn and be prepared for 2018 Easter.

I can recall the days of Easter Egg dying and the mess that was made along with it. These are sure to be a hit scattered around the yard when the grandkids visit and even if a couple of them are never found, you won't get a wiff of them later on in the week when they go to the bad.

These are such colorful scrap busters! I have several friends who are now living in care homes, and these would make wonderful little remembrances for them. Many have dietary restrictions, so most candies are not allowed. Ive heard them complaining about well intentioned plants, too, as these have a hard time surviving in the dry air. These eggs are perfect!

Oh, the possibilities with these amigurumi Easter eggs! Make a mix of sold color and multi-color, and use them to fill baskets in your home decor. I think I'm going to pick up my hook and go through my scrap basket and work up some random eggs!
