This is a very beautiful feminine cowl but I cannot wear this color. I'm very thankful that because we handcraft these things we can tailor them to our own personal tastes or the tastes of those we gift them to. It makes them wonderfully ours!!! I do really like that this cowl is airy and open because I live in the south and anything too heavy is beyond wearing here. I'm glad to be able to add the shell stitch to my repertoire this way as well. Thanks for the free pattern!

You can make this lovely open work cowl using literally one skein of the yarn at Michaels- "Woolike". I am pretty sure the yardage is just right. If you haven't used that yarn, you will be surprised at how far you can go with one skein! I'd like to see this in a medium denim blue.

I've crocheted a blanket, but I think it's time I expand and try to crochet a cowl. Wish me luck!

Lovely scarf beautiful color it is made with. Love these patterns that you customize as you make it and are told to make it as long or short as you like and that gauge is not important to the project. This opens up the gates to being able to experiment with all types of yarns and things you want to use as yarn.

This is a very easy, pretty scarf. And I would think, since it's such an open pattern, that one skein would do it. I love the longer styles. That's for two reasons. One, I live in Florida so something heavy and bulky isn't needed. Secondly, I am claustrophobic and anything wrapped around my neck sends me into a panic.

I love the open, airy texture of this cowl. I would usually start this off with a Foundation Single Crochet, but since Im going to be joining the cowl, I opted for just the chain as instructed. The rest of the pattern rows are nicely repetitive. Since theres no call for changing colors, this would also make a great take along project. It is Printer Friendly, but sadly, no .pdf option.

This Feminine Crochet Cowl fits someone who is very feminine and demure. The design and color evokes an air of serenity, peace, and fragility, some of a woman's personality traits. I have produced a similar scarf in mustard with matching beanie. I will post a picture of that infinity scarf I hope the system gets to post it here. Thanks.

This pattern is so quick and easy to make. The finished cowl is so pretty and feminine. I'm making a bunch of these in various colors to give as Christmas gifts to the girls in the doctors office, my hairdresser, and coworkers.

I'm loving the look and texture of this cowl! My favorite part of this pattern is how it can be worn as a long cowl, doubled or even tripled up to look completely different!
