Dynamic Cathedral Cowl
Wearing a warm crochet cowl like this feels like walking around in a hug all day. The Dynamic Cathedral Cowl is stylish but soft and personal, with so many different options for how to wear it. You can throw it on over your shoulders and go, or you can pull the drawstring and wear it more like a cowl neck scarf.
Either way, it has a gorgeous design thanks to the pom pom strings and the ribbed texture. The crochet shell stitch gives the design intrigue and will keep you interested as you work this up. Making your own accessory will be a very satisfying feeling, and you will be proud to design and wear your own fashion statement.

I have seen cowl patterns before but none quite like this one. I find it really attractive and unique. The addition of the double pom poms make it fun.

This is called a cowl but it is so much more. I love this design and I have already go to google all the special crochet stitches so that I can make this. I am wanting this in a Christmas red to be able to wear during that time of the year. This will be my statement piece this winter.

So great to have a cowl that can be warn in different ways to go with any style of dress. I'm looking forward to using the Red Heart with love yarn. Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet cowl pattern.

With no less than six different ways to fashion this cowl with pom poms, you can whip this up using just ONE skein of Red Heart With Love yarn? What an amazing pattern and amazing designer. I think my favorite look is the one where it is styled as a regular cowl draped naturally around the neck, where the ties and pom poms hang loosely. Very cool look! And it's a pattern workable as an advanced beginner, which is a bonus!

This cowl pattern is amazing! I am always looking for new scarf or cowl patterns to make to wear during the cold winter months. I like the options this one offers for how to wear it. You can make this in any color, to wear with anything you already have. I am thinking I will make a few, in different colors, to have even more options!

I love love love this pattern. Especially the rib shell combination, they make this cowl truly amazing and fun. This is one I plan to make for myself. I wonder if this could be made longer and worn as a poncho/cowl design? Or has anyone tried to make a shawl or blanket/throw out of this pattern. Or maybe even a skirt or dress? I will have to try, but if anyone else does please share your experience with the process of what you crocheted and the yarn used. Hopefully I can get to make my own cowl after the Christmas season had ended.

I can never resist a pattern that is a "one skein" wonder. This is such a pretty and versatile pattern , and it really challenged me. I have never worked a foundation half double crochet before, but once I got the hang of it, it was clear sailing. Depending on the yarn used, you could really dress this cowl up.

This is so unique! It's awesome that it can be worn multiple ways, and I love the pom poms addition.
