Blue Bells Cat Toy
If you have a cat, you know that many cats are very particular about what they play with and how they spend their time. This Blue Bells Cat Toy is guaranteed to amuse your feline for hours. Equipped with a simple bell and crocheted around a toilet paper tube, this free crochet pattern is a quick work up. If you don't have a cat, consider working several up to donate to your local animal shelter. A larger version of this toy could be constructed for a pooch, too.

I made one if these for our two cats and they won't play with it. I even found a bell to put on it. I wasted my time and yarn making this. We thought it might be too big so I crochet a little mouse and stuffed it for them. Like the bell toy they won't play with it. Another waste of yarn and time. I'm not happy. (

I made this for our cats. I worked it as the pattern called for, but I did not like the dc. So I ripped it out and did it again, only this time in sc. I wish patterns had whether they are in U.S. American terminology or British terminology. I hope our cats appreciate it by playing with it, especially since I had no bell to put on the end.

This is a really clever idea for a cat toy. I know how much my children enjoyed playing with the cup and ball, but never thought of using it for a critter toy. We have plenty of tissue paper rolls, too, because I routinely save them for crafts and other projects. Ill make a batch to donate to our new animal shelter since they have separate living room area just for the cats.

This is really cute. It takes very little yarn and makes up super quickly. I have a bunch of friends with cats that I can make some of these to give to their fur babies. I know toys cn get expensive even for them. Thanks for posting this neat recycle able project.

This is a creative way to recycle an item that could have ended up in the landfill if you do not recycle. I am proud to say that I do and I am always looking for ways to recycle in home. Guess who will be getting a new toy this weekend?

This is a project that has been placed at the top of my list, fast. I am cat sitting for my oldest son and our newest addition has gone through all of the toys I bought for him. I will make this and see if it can stand up to his active play.

What a cute idea! I have some friends and family who have cats and this would be a great gift to make for them. This pattern is well written and looks so easy that I'll be making a few of them to give to the fur babies.. Home made toys are always the best! I think this would be a great way to use up some of my scrap yarn bag. Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet pattern.

I have made these for my cats and they think they are great. When I first made them I was skeptical. I didn't think the cats would show much interest, especially given the size of them (about the size of a toilet paper roll if full length). The tail with the bell was enough to make it a hit. They have been playing with them for a couple of years now and they are in just as good of shape as they were new. It is a great and inexpensive cat toy!
