@smokymtncathy 1791856: When a pattern directs you to "work even," that means you should neither increase nor decrease but work the same number of stitches from the last row in the established stitch pattern. You will also notice that the instruction to "work even" in this pattern occurs in the raglan shaping section of the back piece of the sweater and the raglan shaping section of the front piece of the sweater. When the raglan shaping starts, it says at the end of 2 different rows, "work even". What, exactly, does this mean in terms of stitches and does that mean there are 2 rows there?
