I don't mean to sound sexist at all but I am so impressed with your knowledge and skill in crocheting. It is nice to get tips from a male perspective and this project looks lovely on your wall! Did you also make the afghan that is behind you on the chair? It is lovely, too, and I'm sure that one is an easy granny square project. I just hate to have to sew all those squares together, though, so if you have a tutorial on connecting squares easily or as you go, I'd love to see it.
