I see this pattern as almost a template for just about any kind of beaded crocheted necklace. You can pretty much pick any thread and any kind of beading and make it your own. I just may be convinced to give this a try for myself! I am thinking a beach glass kind of look. A bark or taupe colored thread with blue and green glass beads.
