Twisted Loop Flower
"Nothing says Spring like brightly colored flowers. Use them to dress up headbands, bags, or just about anything. These twisted loop flowers take just a few minutes to make, and are so much fun you’ll want to make them by the dozen! I’ve included a video tutorial as well. I used some scraps of worsted weight yarn for my flowers, so the gauge, size and yardage listed in the pattern is for worsted weight yarn. You can make these flowers in any weight of yarn or thread you like, but the finished size and yardage will vary."
Crochet HookH/8 or 5 mm hook
Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)
Crochet GaugeExact gauge is not critical. Use flower pattern as a gauge swatch. If your flower comes out to a size and texture you like, your gauge is fine.
Finished Size2-2.5 inches in diameter.
Materials List

1-2 yds center color (A)

A fast and easy simple flower pattern is always good to have. This flower could even be used as an embellishment to a card or you could upscale a dusty old picture frame with a coat of paint and pretty crocheted flowers in the corner. Several in pastel colors will give a nice spring/summer look.

I love flower patterns. They have so much potential. I have more flower patterns than I have need for them. The other day, my son said that I could make at least one of every flower that I have a pattern for and place them on some sort of display like a flower wall hanging. I hate to admit it but that sounds like a good idea.

I agree with princess6860504. This little twisted loop flower could be used to up-cycle an item in need of a little tender loving care. I can see this attached around the brim of a summer hat that was crochet or store bought. Being able to make this with little yarn, I could these little flowers in a multitude of colors.

I say you could thrift for a pair of white cotton panel curtains and sew these boho chic flowers all along the bottom. Maybe add some crochet fringe or mini pompoms... They would also be great to update an old or well loved crochet afghan that you already have at home. Thanks for the easy scrap buster project!

Im not sure what the problem is, but Ive tried to load the linked page several times and keep getting the message that this is a malicious site. At this point, Im not sure what to do but I might just drop it for now and try again in a few days. I might be able to figure out the pattern from the photo, but Id rather have the actual pattern.

Hi JaneEK, I'm sorry you're having trouble! I just tried clicking the above link, under 'Click here for the free crochet pattern,' and it worked just find for me. I would suggest making sure your browser/any virus software is updated to see if that solves the issue. Thanks!
