"Spring is here, and it's time to celebrate the nice weather and nature blooming all around us. “Use your TULIPS to kiss winter goodbye!” I am just swooning over these fun, colorful tulips that can be used as dishcloths, washcloths, mug rugs, trivets…just about anything! Make a bouquet in all different colors to have on hand for use in your own house, and also to give to friends. They make a lovely Mother's Day gift, too."

This is a really clever project. My grandfather was born in the Netherlands, so of course I have a large patch of tulips in his honor. Im always happy to see them bloom, and sad when they finish their season. Since tulips come in all sorts of colors, you can be free with your own color pallet as well. I have a beautiful peach, pink and fuschia variegated yarn that would be perfect.

Tulips may be hard to grow (for me that is), but not hard to crochet! These could dress up any Spring or Summer party. Id use them as a doily for a table centerpiece, perhaps a vase of real flowers. Then they could be given to your guests as a parting gift!

This is a really cute pattern, different from others I've seen. You can use it as a dishcloth, coaster or mug rug, or trivet, or just as decor, and make it in lots of different colors. I have also lately seen crocheted items used as appliques on clothing and tote bags so that might work too.
