These little flowers make great embellishments. They use up your scrap yarn, and they are quick to make. You can even use them as buttons on vests, tops, and sweaters for little girls, or even for yourself. I do that often. If you use the same hook, and work with your yarn double strand, it will create a nice thick flower that will work wonderfully as a button. Using cotton instead of acrylic yarn will make it even denser. This pattern even includes a chart for those who prefer to work that way.

No matter how simple the design, when I find a crochet flower pattern I save it to my folder marked flowers. You never now when you will need a little something extra for a project you are creating. Perhaps you may even need something to embellish something that needs a little attention. This four petal crochet flower will get a lot of use from me.

I thought that this four petal crochet flower pattern would be complicated because of the little curve at the edge of the flower petal. However with all of the photos, this pattern could not be any easier to create. I love this pattern and I know I will be able to find a lot of uses for it in the very near future. Thanks for sharing.
