I am a fairly accomplished gardener and can grow just about anything outside, but the humble lavender has had me stumped for years. Considering there are several lavender farms in my immediate area, Im pretty sure its user error on my part. These crocheted spikes are so close to the real thing that I might just abandon my efforts at actually growing some.
