Floating Crochet Flower
According to the designer, this flower almost looks like it's floating by the way the top layer is lifted up. You can stiffen it if you like, add a cute button in the center and use it any which way that fancies you. This flower pattern is an intermediate project that's worked up with a solid color of worsted weight yarn.

What a pretty and interesting idea. I can use things like this in my crochet purse making. And if you want to get even more creative, do each layer in different colors. I also like to add a pretty button in the very center and sew thru the button holes into my purse to kill two birds as they say.

The adorable flower is approximately 3.5 across, making it great for headbands, hats or anything else you have in mind. I think it would look very pretty if the last row was worked in a different color which would give the flower a more exotic look. Cant wait to play around with the colors to see what I come up with.

I love these 3 dimensional flowers because theyre pretty worked up in solid or additional colors. The stitches used for the design make them so unique. Its a very short pattern, but do pay attention to the Turn at the end of each Round. Thats not normally how you make flowers, but it is what gives this project its distinctive look.

The floating crochet flower is very sweet. Adding little-crocheted appliques to your crochet or even knitted items add that little extra that makes them stand out. Takes a basic piece to eye catching. This flower is a well-written pattern. Thank you

Crochet flower patterns are awesome and quick projects. they can be used in a million ways and made million different colors and sizes. I love that this one is multi layered. It stands out so much more. I can think of a ton of projects it would make a pretty addition to.

This sweet little flower is quite versatile. It could be made larger or smaller, depending on the weight of yarn and hook used. It could be added to totes, hats, or cardigans. It would also look adorable added to a headband for a little girl. Your options are endless! They would look beautiful in a rainbow of colours!

What a sweet, soft pretty flower. Very easy pattern. I am thinking of a bunch of ways to use it already. Glue a flat back rhinestone in the center and then glue it on a hair clip. Put a button in the middle in a color that compliments the item you are attaching it too.in my case a crochet purse I made.

This would be such a cute little addition to any pattern. I love the blush pink color.
