Easy Rose Flower
"Learn to crochet this rose flower. It is easy to make and is perfect for adding onto headbands, hats, shawls, etc. This flower uses basic crochet stitches and is a beginner level project. You can change the size of your finished flowers by adjusting the hook size and weight of yarn. The bigger your crochet hook, the bigger your flower. The smaller the crochet hook the smaller the flower. The blog post will give you the written instructions along with a link for a free YouTube video tutorial. I have some of these bands but I typically use them to make a pony tail because they are not all that pretty. What a wonderful way to make them more attractive by adding this rose or a row of them.

This easy rose flower can be used to add to any project. It could easily be added to something that you made yourself or any store bought item that needs a little tlc. Here is also a way to use up those scraps of yarn and have something useful in the end.

Heres an excellent example of adding your own embellishments to a plain object and making it into something really special. The pattern for the flower is easy to follow, and the designer has embedded videos for both the flower and the separate leaf. Ill be on the look out for those headbands, too. Thanks for the tip! Our local store is moving to a larger building so their stock is pretty skimpy right now.
