I really like how the stem and leaf are worked as one separate piece with this project. That always seemed like the most logical thing to do in the first placefewer pieces to sew on! I played around with the stem, and found by working on the other side of the chain, I could add an additional leaf a little further up. That way I can continue on with this flower pattern, or use a completely different one to top the stem.

I wish to thank all of the designers and bloggers that make this possible because they are so generous to share their talents with us. Love these little flowers. I will use these as an applique on several items I am thinking about making.
