When I think of coaster, I tend to stray over to the idea that some sort of cork is included to help absorb the moisture. I like this design. You can have you cork and beauty along with it.

This is the first crochet project that I have seen the use of the cork. I like the principle. I have long thought that if you do not have something to absorb the liquid it would just seep through and still ruin the table. I am glad to have run across this project. Thanks for sharing the project.
