Zena Zipper Pouch
"This cute granny square zipper pouch is the perfect retro-inspired place to stash your crochet hooks, colored pencils, glasses, stitch markers, or whatever else feels good to you. You’ll make four simple granny squares, put them together, add in a zipper and lining, and you have a fun, useful pouch. Makes a great gift! Finished Measurements: About 8 1/2 inches x 4 1/2 inches. Yarn: Universal Yarn Uptown DK (100% Acrylic; 273 yds; 100 g; yarn weight category: 3/DK/light): 1 skein each #130 Donahue (light gray), #101 White, and #146 Aqua. Choose the order in which you will use your colors. Color A will be used for Rnds 1 and 4 and for the joining and edging. Color B will be used for Rnd 2. Color C will be used for Rnd 3. Crochet Hook: H (5 mm), or size needed to obtain gauge. Notions: Tapestry needle, sewing needle, thread to match yarn color A, two pieces of cotton fabric 5 inches x 8 3/4 inches each, all-purpose 9 inch zipper to match yarn color A.
