"Cute and simple crochet slouchy hat pattern. Since the crochet hat is first made by crocheting a rectangle, there is no working in the round. The hat works quickly and is sure to be a favorite. Sized for a woman but it is easily adjustable by increasing or decreasing the foundation row. As sized, the hat only uses one skein of Red Heart soft yarn! Stitches to know: chain, half double crochet, foundation half double crochet, double crochet. This crochet slouchy hat pattern uses US crochet terms."
Crochet HookI/9 or 5.5 mm hook
Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)

The mixture of stitches really gives this charming hat such a special look. I love how the bands of are so distinct from each other. The designer has provided some very nice photos to guide the crafter, too. The hat is worked flat like many others, but what is unusual is that the ribbing is also worked flat. Then the entire piece is seamed up and gathered at the top. Thanks for finding this one!
