What a pretty purse. I have made one from this pattern months ago. It came out beautifully. It is not hard at all. And I always line my purses. Regardless what other people have said, lining is very easy. I just make a three sided pouch and slide it in and whip stitch around the top.

This is a very attractive purse, but if youre not familiar with how lined bags are constructed in general, I wouldnt suggest you start with this one. I dont fault the designer for not including an instructional video, but there arent any photos to guide the crafter on making the lining or installing the zipper. The note referring to the alternative way of installing these is confusing, too.

I admit the bobble stitch is not my favorite but this pattern has me drooling over it! I have been dying to do a purse with a sewn in zipper and am so impressed with the how this pattern looks. I love Cheryl idea about adding squares inside for pockets! Definitely going to be adding this to my list! Thank you!

I love this pattern for your Bobble-Stitch-Purse. I have to try it, this is very well written and easy to follow. I love the purse strap, I never thought of working on the back side of the chain to make a strap, great idea that look good and strong. I'm thinking of making some simple squares to sew inside for pockets to put things in. Thank you so much for sharing this free pattern.
