Crochet HookH/8 or 5 mm hook
Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)
Crochet Gauge3 sts = 1″ and 6 rows = 2″.
Finished SizeLaying flat it measures 9″ wide by 6.5″ high, not counting the flap or handles.

I like this crochet purse. It's very simple and easy to use. I cannot see the length of the bag but I want a not too long handle. I want to make this a body bag if I want to use it for safety and security.

Back in the day before backpacks were standard equipment for teens, I had a crocheted bag very similar to this one. I lost it when it was stolen along with my mustard yellow leather wallet. I hadnt thought of that little purse in years! Im not a purse person, but I might just work this up for old times sake.
