Pine Cone Hedgehog
"Hedgehogs are so cute and this pine cone hedgehog is adorable! The body is a pine cone and the head, legs and ears are crocheted. This little guy or gal is the perfect accessory for fall decorating plus when the holidays come around, you can crochet a matching hat! The pattern comes with a Santa hat pattern but I think any kind of hat would look cute on these little furry creatures! This is a fun and quick project that you will love!"

OMG! How cute is this pattern. What an adorable use of those pine cones. The littlest one in the middle with the little Santa Claus hat really takes the cake. Pine cones are easy to find during the fall but these could be decor all year if you "dress" them accordingly. I kind of have a feeling my little pine cone hedgehogs will need replacement bodies as my Grand sons give them a little work out during visits. Anxious to see how well /long they hold up.
