Huggy Koala
"Looking for a cuddly crochet companion for Valentine's Day? Huggy the Koala enjoys munching on Eucalyptus leaves, clinging to your fingers, and long walks on the beach. Crocheted with sturdy cotton yarn for optimal shaping and with sew-on snaps on the ends of his paws to keep Huggy hugging, you won't be able to keep from smiling when you work up this sweet little marsupial. He takes less than a skein of yarn and works up quickly for a last minute gift."

I LOVE this little Huggy Koala! The written pattern is well written and easy to understand. I have been crocheting for over 20 years now and learned something new with this pattern, (If you want the fuzzy look on your koalas ears, use a wire pet brush to brush the fronts of the ears.) I all ways used a stiff tooth brush, I never thought of using a wire pet brush? You can always teach a old dog new tricks. LOL I will be making a few of these and giving to the Grand kids, I'm sure they will love them. Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet pattern.

This tiny little creature is just the right size to tuck into a diaper bag for the mom on the go. You never know when you need a little something to distract a crying baby! You could work up several and have an entire family of cute koalas. I love the secret heart on his chest, too. Reminded me of my old Raggedy Ann doll!
