Hi I am making this adorable poodle now,and enjoying seeing it come to life. I am finding the pattern relatively easy. Because we don't have pompadoodle yarn in Newzealand, I have managed to get my niece in America to get it for me, which I am so grateful, she is a lifesaver. I have made a lot of patterns off 'hooked on crochet sites', I really swear by them. Thanks also for putting videos up on steps on how to crochet this cute wee poodle. Many thanks, Raewyn Donald.

Hi Jojosubrbo You may want to try again to get the pattern. When you click on the link now, the pattern displays. I always open links in a new window so I don't lose the page the link is on.

Kids, nothing! I want to make it for myself! I've not tried to make an animal or doll yet, so this one may have to be my first.

That is really cute! I would definitely make this for a little girl's gift. When I make an afgan for a coworkers baby, I always make a toy to match the afgan. My coworkers can't wait to see what I will make for their new baby!

It's not for me: I have very different dogs and am not into this kind of stuff. Probably not all that easy either, but that wouldn't bother me.

I made two of these as Christmas presents and they turned out to be the favorite gifts of all for my 5y/o granddaughters. It was tricky using the pompom yarn and a challenge to find it!

I am making it now! It is awesome. And very forgiving if you are new to crocheting. So don't be scared to try it. Don't get too hung up on counting how many stitches are in your round when you are making any of the tube parts (body, back of head, etc.) as long as it is looking like the right shape. I only have one more ear to make and then put it all together :) I have the body put together and it is really cute! :) I made it teal and purple just for the fun of it. :)

I love making prim dolls of all sorts. This adorable poodle will be sitting next to one of them. I know I will make a lot more than one because I could crochet the trim in colors to match season or events. Thank you

I think this poodle is adorable and would love to make it for my granddaughter. However, I have had trouble following the instructions for the body, particular for the leg openings. The holes don't match up for me. Can anyone help me figure this out?

I would love to make it, but for me to make it I will need a little more practice making non-flat things! Learning to increase and decrease a little more. Adorable for just about anyone that likes to cuddle with animal or friend - especially the non-furry type.

I think this is so adorable. I have a grand daughter turning 4 in March and lately she has been enamored with a game that does grooming with prissy dogs. This would be perfect for her and in fact, I am going to make it for her!

I would make that if someone asked me, for a specific purpose. I would not present it as a gift, since taste is subjective. A lot of love & work goes into these projects & I'd hate to see any of it go to waste if it went to someone who didn't love it. Take orders for it instead.

I love this but tried to do it and for an average crocheter I just don't understand the pattern. Was hoping to be able to do the follow along last year but they never completed it.

I made the pattern with a pink variegate instead of the solid and also made a hoodie and used the left over yarn to trim the hoodie around the wrists, bottom and the hoodie. It was an easy pattern to make

You can buy this yarn at Roberts arts and crafts on line. I found this place last summer, and they have every color of yarn there is. They are in Utah, (wish they were in Illinois). Just type in Roberts crafts and it will pop up. Very good service.

I was so excited when I found this pattern. I made one of differenct colors for my 3 grand daughters. This pattern is easy even for the beginner. I found the pompa-doodle yarn at Michael's. Unfortunately they didn't carry the solid colors but they have a nice selection. Before finishing one of legs I used a lighter shade-then back to the original shade making it look like the cuff of a sock above the pompa-doodle yarn. Yes! I agree, I found the yarn but I don't want to pay $7.00 for shipping when the yarn itself cost less. Anybody out there to help us....? Help

Tell me too! I have been to JoAnne Fabrics & Hobby Lobby. They are not even sure what I was talking about. Michaels has it but not the pink one. This is making me crazy! I want to join the crochet along but do not want to pay almost $7.00 for shipping for one $4.99 skein of Pomp-a-Doodle. Help!
