I just love the texture of the seed stitch. Also it doesn't have the typical look of a crocheted stitch. I have made several afghans using a combination of rows of seed stitch broken up now and then by a few rows of half doubles. One of my favorite afghans is done in these two stitches. Give it a try and see how you like it. jcg1224
