Since this is made of individual granny squares, this is the perfect on-the-go project - just work up some granny squares in the car or on the train and join them all together once you're home!

This is a beautiful pattern. I love granny squares, and each of these squares is unique and very lovely. My favorite part of making granny squares is that they take hardly any time at all. The worst part, of course, is when you have to sew all the squares together. This can take longer than making the squares.

What a gorgeous pattern. It's so feminine and delicate. It looks complicated but it isn't. It's a well written pattern. I have used some of Kims other designs and always gotten compliments. I know I will get a lot more over this. Thank you Kim, for giving us another beauty to pass along.

I love this. Not just because it is made with Granny Squares, one of my most favorite things to crochet but because of the delicateness of this throw. I was very interested in the name "andante" and could not figure out the meaning. Anyone know what it means?

andante is a music tempo term it means the music is to be played slowly

The name of the yarn used for this project is Spa. When the yarn company (Caron) commissioned projects/patterns from me in this yarn, the Spa projects were named after spas throughout the world. This one was named after the Andante Day Spa in Nashville, Tenn.

That is such a beautiful color for this gender neutral throw. It is made in squares that are then attached together. This throw reminds me so much of one that I made for my Aunt last year. The pattern for hers was a pineapple stitch however but looked very similar to this one and about the same size also.

I am a true fan of on the go projects. The yarn selections does make this throw seem delicate but I am sure it will ward of the cold on those approaching winter nights. I am interested in a darker hue to compliment the dcor in the home. I may even make squares of varying colors.

This is very pretty with its delicate look. I read thru the instructions and it's not hard ar all. I love the different motifs . But I think I will make it into either a table runner or a wall hanging. Both would be gorgeous. Thank you for offering this beauty.

Lace projects are so luxurious and elegant. This Andante Throw is one of them. The color choice has certainly enhanced its elegance and good taste. It can be done in a color of your choice but for men this Ocean Spray by Caron is perfect.

Is this not so beautiful? I just love that the squares are different designs and I also love the soft blue color so much that I wish it suited out dcor, lol! As it is I am still undecided about whether to use charcoal or a few different soft colors but that is a minor point. I also have a wonderful friend who I know is going to love this do will definitely be making it for her for her upcoming birthday.

I like this pattern! Too cute and the colors are great. This would come in handy for the winter months and you wouldn't have to worry about being too chilly on those long cold winter evenings while relaxing on the sofa. I think it would make a fun gift as well. This will be on my to do crochet list for sure!

There is a link to the diagram. It is accessed by clicking on the word pattern which is under the listing of materials. This may have been an add since the comment about the link.

There should be a diagram with this pattern but the link above does not show it. If you go here you will find the whole pattern with diagram http://www.naturallycaron.com/projects/andante/andante_1.html
