Star Stitch Striped Baby Blanket
"This baby blanket is so sweet, you’ll want to make one for your next baby or grandbaby. Simply switch up the colors to fit with any nursery decor. While this stitch has a couple of minor challenging aspects, once you get through the first few rows, you’ll find yourself flying through the rest of it. And to keep it simple, we’ve used a basic single crochet for the border. Once you’ve completed one blanket you’ll find yourself looking for more babies who could use a cozy blanket to cuddle up with."

When I hit the seventh month mark in my twin pregnancy, my doctors decided the prudent thing to do was to ground me. Not complete bed rest, but close enough. The enforced rest did give me enough time to work up Star Stitch baby blankets for the expected twins. I had to use a pastel mix instead of the strips in the project. Back in the day, we had to wait until the babies were born before finding out their gender.
