This is just the kind of blanket pattern I would look for when I would make Tummy Time mats. This is an important step on infant development, and it helps if there are interesting shapes and colors for Baby to interact with. Strong contrasts are great for sight development, and the texture encourages touching. This is such a clever design that I hardly even notice the Chevrons!

Wow what twist on a ripple blanket pattern. I love the idea of this one with the ripple blanket crocheting rounds into it as you go. So different, I have to do this one!! I can see so many color buttons made and crocheted into this one. A great way to use up some of my scrap yarn. I'm looking forward to making this one.
