Absolutely freeing of spirit! This Whispering Birch Bohemian Vest will help you live a younger day. I love the radical, artistic flair this pattern has. I can see this one in my favorite color over a black sheath dress or with blue jeans and a soft t-shirt. This is a retro look if ever I saw one! I cant remember when I learned to crochet, but I specifically remember making one of these in 1970. Whats old is definitely new again. Olivias patterns are always well written, so if youre so inclined, go for it! As for me, my Hippie days are long gone, so Ill take a pass on this one.

I wish I could get this pattern in an XXL. I'm afraid even the large wouldn't be large enough for this busty gal. It'll make a nice gift, anyway! I see Hopeful Honey recommends Lion Brand 24/7 cotton yarn. I haven't tried this yarn as of yet. I understand it is highly recommended for summertime clothing and other apparel items. I do like the natural tones that it comes in. Meaning, realistic and found in nature. This ought to be a fun one!
