Streeterville Cowl
"Stay warm and cozy without a lot of bulk! The Streeterville cowl works up quickly and easily. It uses a linen stitch pattern, which creates a light and drapey fabric. I designed this cowl using the yarn from one of my early attempts at spinning. The stitch pattern really allows the texture of uneven or thick-and-thin yarns to shine, so it’s great for novice spinners! It softens color transitions too, so works well with self-striping yarns."

I did not think this was made using a bulky yarn. By looking at the pic, I was thinking it was a worsted weight, something like the Lion Brand Landscapes yarn, or Red Heart Boutique Unforgettable. Those yarns have a natural uneven look and feel to the strands that provides such character. Plus, the colors are already coordinated for you, in case you are one of those undecisive types.

This lovely cowl is made with a bulky yarn so it works up quickly. Its so easy that a beginner could make this with very little effort. This piece is made in one continuous round so there are no stitch counts to keep track of. Customize it to your favorite yarn and colors.
