I would be telling my age, but this reminds me of Mary Tyler Moore when she played on the sit-com opposite of Dick Van Dyke. When she would be in cleaning mode, she would be wearing some type of head gear like this. I like this retro pin up headband.

At first glance I was under the impression that this was essentially a triangle that was tied at the top when used as a headband. Boy was I wrong. For such a simple item, it appears to be a lot of directions applied and no pictures.

This headband isnt my style, but my baby sister would love it. She loves Rosie the Riveter, so working this up in red will be a must. I found a sample skein at one of my favorite craft stores that would be perfect for this project.
