I whipped this up when I needed to add something to a very plain straw hat. It turned out so well that I made a few more in other colors. I added some additional flowers and some bugs so I could wear the hat to our local universitys BugFest. I had to put in an hour or so at our Garden Club booth, and this was just the thing!

A quick pattern to make which can be made using left over oddments of yarn. Although I didn't make this for a hat I made it to be used as a headband as I really liked the cute flower. The instructions are very easy to follow for a beginner at crochet and it does not take long to make.
