"I designed these beautiful dangling crochet earrings in celebration of Spring with its magnificent blooming cherry trees. Using this crochet pattern, in one evening you will be able to make amazing looking Cherry Blossom Crochet Earrings! The Cherry flowers are made with Puff Stitch. The flowers are embellished with Czech glass beads on each sides as well, and they look pretty from both sides. Materials: Crochet cotton thread size #10 in pink and light pink Crochet hook size 8/1.5mm Flat-nose pliers 1 pair earring wires 4 clear czech glass beads, size 6/0 or beads of your choice 2 jump rings Finished Size: Cherry Blossom Crochet Earrings are about 3” (7.5 cm) long."

Talking about other ideas for using these crocheted cherry blossoms- how about as curtain panel tie backs? Especially pretty white sheer gauze panels. Also pretty would be an extra long strand of cherry blossoms that you join to form a continuous loop- for a pretty necklace! While I am not a jewelry maker, i feel confident I could make these earrings. There aren't a lot of parts.

I've never seen a pair of crochet earrings before. These are so cute! I especially love the delicate nature of cherry blossoms.

Our cherry trees are just now coming into bloom, so its nice to see these happy blossoms. I have a metal allergy so the earrings themselves are out for me, but I can think of several places where I can use the flowers themselves for other projects. We had to take down a few trees due to wind damage, and attaching the flowers to some small branches would make a lovely display.
