"This is my first attempt at Tapestry crochet and I must say I absolutely love the result. I worked really hard on this pattern, testing and retesting it until my brain exploded. Making the chart was also a tedious but fun experience. Welcome winter in these mittens with an adorable snowflake embellishment. This design will look beautiful in so many color combinations, grey and white, red and white, blue and light green, copper and white, the choices are just endless."

I must agree with JaneEK. For a first attempt at a tapestry project this one is incredible. This is definitely a first rate tapestry project and I certainly hope that this is not the last tapestry project that Shehnaaz shares with the world of All Free Crochet.

These are really pretty. The blue and white remind me of the colder months of winter that will arrive before you know it. The snowflake is perfectly designed and will a welcome addition to the outer winter wear for any young at heart adult. Thanks for sharing the pattern.

I really have to compliment this designer on what is a fairly ambitious first Tapestry project. The chart is nicely done, and the instructions clearly written. It would have been so much easier to cross stitch or work some other Surface Crochet to the backs of the mittens, but admittedly that is more time consuming. I love working Tapestry, too!

I am so happy to see this Snowflake Mittens pattern. I have never been good working with just charts so I just stopped trying to do tapestry crocheting. With this pattern she tells you step by step how to do the snowflake. Yah! I can make these! I'm looking forward to making these with the clear written directions. Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet tapestry snowflake mittens pattern.

I really would love to try my hand at tapestry crochet! I applaud her for being able to create this design and perfect it for her readers. To buy something like this at a fancy boutique, you would end up paying an arm and a leg, and you would not have the personal enjoyment and satisfaction of creating them yourself! I love a good challenge, don't you?
