This versatile headband starts off with a Foundation Half Double Crochet, so it already has my vote right there. The designer gives instructions for sizes from Infant through Adult. The entire project is only 10 rounds, so it works up incredibly fast. Depending on the size, this would be a great scrapbuster, too. You can also add some embellishments if you want, but I like the look of the textured band by itself.
