It is never to early to get started on Christmas decorations if you plan to make them yourself. This is a beautiful Christmas tree skirt and even if you have an artificial tree like I do, a tree skirt adds so much more to the decorations.

So this post is for a Christmas tree skirt and I just clicked to see the details of the pattern. Boy am I glad that I did. The designer has shared pictures of some other awesome projects. Take a look. I love this tree skirt but my interest has been piqued with some of the other projects.

When I first started crocheting years ago, I loved making afghans similar to these. I love working from the center and seeing it grow with each round. This type of pattern works up quickly.and I love the colors and the stripes of this tree skirt.it would look nice in anyone's home.

This is a nice, easy pattern to work up. I generally dont like ripple patterns as they remind me of the 1970s. However, my senior ladies love this pattern. Its simple enough that they shouldnt have a problem completing it. Several have worked ripple afghans in the past, and they still love this stitch. They would welcome a Christmas project using the stitch.

This Simple Christmas Tree Skirt is also a beautiful pattern for a tree skirt. In fact compared to the previous one which I said is I think the most beautiful so far, this is faster to make because there will be few color changes. However, the only reason really that this skirt got a 4-star rating are the colors. I wish the colors here were brighter, bright red, bright green. More vibrant shades of red and green. Anyway you can change the colors to your preference.
