What an adorable little coin purse. And it truly is easy to make. I am thinking of making these up now and putting them aside for December. Then putting gift cards or treats in them and hang them on the tree. I think my family would really love getting a gift inside a gift!

This is a novel take on a mini stocking. The project uses only the most basic chain and single crochet stitches, so it would be very easy for a beginner to work up. Good practice for future sock projects that include turning a heel. The hardest part is sewing on the coin purse clasp, but the author has provided an alternative. Plenty of step by step photos, too.
