Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)

Crochet Gauge14 sts = 4in (10cm) over the snowflake mosaic crochet section. The 13 rounds of the snowflake from Round 4 to 16 of the Sides = 3.25in (8cm).
However tension is not essential for this project as you will be measuring against your gift box as you go.

• Any Aran or worsted weight acrylic yarn in 2 colours. I used Caron Simply Soft, 100% Acrylic (170g/6oz, 288m/315yds) (yarn A) and Caron Simply Soft Party 1% Metalized Polyester, 99% Acrylic (85g/3oz, 150m/164yds)
• 4.5mm Crochet Hook or hook needed for your yarn
• A tapestry needle for working in ends
• Scissors
• Measuring tape
• Gift in a square or rectangular box, or cardboard to make a simple box shape
