I agree with everyone else about the look of this hat. It is simple and traditional. The pom pom adds to the look, but it could also be made without the pom pom, or with one that can be removed so that the hat can then be used as a night cap or to wear on other days as well.

I appreciate this pattern being available because there is a true lack of traditional Santa (crochet) hats out there. I like to use them to decorate in the house. I like to put them on stuffed animals (bears or pups) that I save to display for the holidays. It is a tradition passed down from my grandparents. I will try this pattern for sure.

So glad I found this pattern. I've been looking for an easy Crochet Santa Hat pattern. The written pattern sounds so easy to follow and make. I've done a lot of other patterns but none that was this good looking. Thank you, thank you so much for this free pattern. I'll be making a few of these for the family.

I have seen a ton of Santa hats, but usually there is just something about them that makes me decide not to make them. This is my favorite of the Santa hats I've seen. I really like the way the band is ribbed. And this would be cute for the whole family, to take family photos.

I am so happy to find this Holiday Santa Hat pattern that is well written and easy to follow. Unlike other patterns I've tried this one looks like the real Santa Hat! If you don't want it for Christmas you can switch up the colors and make it for the Fall season. My family will be so happy to receive one of these. Holiday Santa Hat is a very common sight during the Christmas season. When you see someone wearing it or when you see it displayed in a store then you know it's Christmas. However, let's not get distracted by Santa or by many other things displayed in a store or things that we want to receive for Christmas.
