Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)
Crochet Gauge4 rounds and 6 stitches= 1 inch

I work up so many hats that even I get bored sometimes. Appliques are perfect for adding a bit of whimsy to what would be an ordinary hat. I like using snow people for my winter hats because although they are certainly seasonal, they arent necessarily associate with a single holiday. Our last frost date here is mid May, so winter hats get plenty of use.
