Peppermint Candies Wreath
This pattern is for a wreath, but you can do so much more! Instructions include all 3 sizes and some tips on how to make it your own. Add these cute little stuffed peppermints to a wreath form like I did or add loop and make them tree ornaments or use a small hook and thread to make earrings. There’s so much to do with these cute and fast peppermint candies that you could have a house full of them in just a couple days.

I love the big, bold look of this wreath. No namby pamby confections on this one! The Caron One Pound is the perfect choice for this project because that particular yarn tends to run a bit stiffer than some of its competitors. The instructions are easy to read and an ad free .pdf can be purchased for a modest fee. Im going to take the designers suggestion and work up some of these as tree ornaments, too.

Not only is this a fabulous wreath for the holidays, but the peppermint "candies" can be used for many other crafting projects, as well. If you wanted to, you could make your own "ugly Christmas sweater" by sewing some of these onto an old red and green sweater! I think a project such as this would be very relaxing and quite rewarding. Great gift tie ons, too!

Even better is to take a plain red sweatshirt and tack the candies on that. Then you can remove the candies and still have a perfectly serviceable sweatshirt.
