This is a very good project for a beginner. I read the directions and it's so well written that any one can follow along. It doesn't take that much yarn and uses very basic stitches. I think making it n black would be the best for me. Then I can wear it with anything.

This finished project will be a little pricey if you select to use the yarn that the designer included in the materials list. Because I am allergic to wool I will have to fine a substitute to make this. I love the elastic in the sleeves.

I had no issues opening the pattern for this cocoon cardi crochet pattern either. I love that the designer has opted to use elastic in the sleeves for the cardigan. I think that makes the whole cardigan special. Hoping I will be able to wear the large size as that is the largest pattern directions provided. Thanks
