In the process of Left Front. This is step #5.2nd row Ch 1. 1 sc in each sc to last 2 sts. Sc2tog over last 2 sts. Turn. Rep last 2 rows (4-17) times more. (45-26) sc. This saying to repeat the last 2 rows either 4 times or 17 times? This doesn't make sense to me. I'm making the XL and don't know where to stop - at 4 or 17. The directions can be frustrating if they aren't specific. I had to frog the back and now that it's done, I still see vague directions.

I have trouble figuring out the finished sizes of the various sections. Do you have dimensions for each section?

The top 3 pieces are easy. The lace part is VERY difficult to understand! A diagram or close up photo of lace rows would make our lives so much easier!! HELP

Hi Janice Diane, I'm sorry that you're having trouble with the lace portion of the pattern. We have added a close up image of the lace pattern in the "Lower Body" section above. Hopefully this helps. If you're still having difficulties, I'd recommend contacting Patons, the designers of this pattern, at the pattern page on their website here: https://www.yarnspirations.com/patons-crochet-cardigan/PAC0129-008623M.html. I hope this helps! - Laura, editor of AllFreeCrochet

After reading the directions for this Breezy Bamboo Crochet Cardigan I now understand what the term for bamboo is for. I have yet to use any type of bamboo yarn and this may be the perfect pattern in which to try that type of yarn.

Glad to see that the directions for this Breeze Bamboo crochet cardigan is easy. After reading over the directions I am inclined to agree. Right now, I have yet to create a piece of fashion like this and I can not wait to get started. Thanks for the free pattern.

This is beautiful. It's so easy too. I don't know where a previous commenter buys her yarn but here bamboo yarn isn't that much. I can make it for less than $40. And the directions cover a bunch of sizes all the way up to a 4x so I can make it for anyone.

Wow I love this beautiful Breezy Bamboo Crochet Cardigan Pattern that is right here on this page. I wish there was a print tab so I could print it out and cross off the parts that I'll not need and circle the numbers for the size I'll be making. I'm going to Florida in a few weeks and this cardigan will fit right in to my wardrobe. Thankfully I have a 60% off coupon for yarn at JoeAnn's. The written pattern is well written and easy to understand. I will make mine a little longer in the sleeves. Thank you so much for the beautiful free crochet pattern.

Ah. From top, down! Love these as can adjust lengths of sleeves torso, After it finishes "stretching"! Yes!

I for one, think that this breezy bamboo crochet cardigan is stunning! It would look so smart in a bamboo color or a crisp white. Wear it over a white maxi dress made of a flowing gauze material, and be ready to take it to your tropical vacation. I very much appreciate the extensive size range provided, all the way up to 3X.

Pleasingly easy to follow pattern stitches for this Lacey cardigan. Love the length to make one, and shorten the length of another for different look.

I'm really glad I looked at the reviews on this. I've done a LOT of Yarnspiration patterns in the past and have had amazingly good success with them. But finding a pattern that's wrong/just doesn't work is the pits! Thank you all for the input! I would have been very angry if Id started it and found it didnt work!

Yes i also was looking for the patterns for the 19 easy breezy cardigans?Could not find it!

Hi Mfharmony, The link to the 19 Easy Breezy Cardigans collection page was wrong. It has since been updated. You should be able to visit the page now. Thanks! Julia, editor for AllFreeCrochet

I'm glad I'm not alone! I loved the look of this sweater and decided to download the pattern. I always read the pattern before I start (no surprises that way). I must have come across 4 mistakes right away. I have deleted this pattern!!

Hi GreatGreatGrams, This pattern is direct from Yarnspirations, and it's copied here the same way as it is on their website. I will send this to our tech editor, though, and see if this pattern can't be updated. Thanks! Julia, editor for AllFreeCrochet

Where does the pattern start to go wrong.? I have just started making this.

So glad I read these comments! I was going to try making this sweater. It said use bamboo yarn and that it takes 10 balls. That would cost $75 to $80 dollars! I would have been so MAD if I spent that $$ and then couldn't follow the pattern!

is there any battern picture not the write one

After completing the top singe crochet part, I ended up substituting a different lace pattern that I could actually follow.

I am having a terrible time with the lace pattern part. Would you please consider sharing what pattern you used to add the lace. I completed the top, but no lace!

Worst pattern ever. Impossible to follow. If people don't want to share patterns, don't share. I would rather someone not share versus giving poor instructions. I have started and ripped this out 4 times now. I quit. So disappointed, I have always been delighted with the free patterns to date.

I am glad I am not the only one, I started and started 10 times , cannot figured this is out.

I do not believe the directions for the lace are accurate. I have downloaded the photo and still cannot make sense of it.

A bit difficult to follow the lace as it is written. Wish there was a chart. And the pattern is not complete for largest sizes.

I am also looking for the cardigans. Would also like little girl cardigans.

The pattern fails to give the size measurements. From the original website XS 28-34 M 36-38 L 40-42 XL 44-46 2-3XL 48-54 4-5XL 56-62

Sizes please. And where are the 19 breezy cardigans?
